1. About us & these terms

This website (phangantransfers.com) is operated by Phangan Transfer Service ("Mr M", "we", "us", "our"), a private transfer and taxi service based on Koh Phangan, Thailand. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our services

We provide private minivan transfers, airport and pier connections, island day tours, chauffeur hire, party transfers and related travel services on and around Koh Phangan. Services are provided subject to availability and to these terms.

3. Bookings & quotes

Bookings are made primarily via WhatsApp or telephone. When you contact us we will provide a price quote and, where possible, confirm your driver and pickup time. A booking is only confirmed once we have acknowledged and agreed the details with you. We recommend booking in advance, especially for early-morning transfers, airport connections and Full Moon Party dates.

4. Prices & payment

  • Prices shown on this website are guide prices in Thai Baht (THB) and may change. Your final price is the one we confirm with you before travel.
  • Prices may be quoted per person or per vehicle depending on the service — we will make this clear when you book.
  • Small surcharges may apply for late-night or very early pickups, remote locations, and busy periods such as Full Moon Party weeks.
  • Payment is typically made in cash (Thai Baht) to the driver. Bank transfer or PromptPay may be arranged in advance for larger bookings.
  • Prices for third-party services (ferries, boats, scooter rental, onward tickets) are set by those providers, not by us.

5. Changes & cancellations

If you need to change or cancel a booking, please tell us as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate changes. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may affect future bookings. Where a fee has been paid in advance for a cancelled service, any refund is at our reasonable discretion.

6. Timing, delays & connections

We take punctuality seriously and will do our best to arrive at the agreed time. However, travel times on Koh Phangan can be affected by road, traffic and weather conditions. You are responsible for allowing enough time for your ferry, flight or onward connection, including check-in and possible delays. We strongly recommend a comfortable buffer and cannot be held responsible for missed ferries, flights or connections caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Passengers, luggage & conduct

  • Please tell us your number of passengers and luggage when booking so we can send a suitable vehicle. Our standard minivan seats up to 9 passengers.
  • For your safety, passengers should follow the driver's reasonable instructions and wear seatbelts where fitted.
  • You are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by you or your party beyond normal use.
  • We may refuse or end a journey where behaviour is unsafe, illegal or abusive.

8. Third-party services

Some journeys involve services provided by independent third parties — including ferry and boat operators, onward-travel providers booked through 12Go Asia, and scooter rental via our partner Koh Phangan Motorbikes. Those services are subject to the providers' own terms and conditions, and we are not responsible for their schedules, availability, pricing, acts or omissions. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and some may be affiliate links (see our disclosures).

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Our vehicles are insured in accordance with Thai law.

10. Scooter rental & safety

Where we provide transfers to a scooter rental partner, the rental is a separate contract between you and the rental shop. Riding a scooter carries risk; you must hold the correct licence, wear a helmet and ride responsibly. Please see our scooter rental page for safety guidance.

11. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, road closures, ferry cancellations, strikes, government action or emergencies.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
